Thiourethanes
Thiourethane is an imprecise collective name for several groups of substances in organic chemistry. In detail, these are:
- Thiolourethane , the thiolester of the unstable thiolcarbamic acid (H 2 N – COSH)
- Thionourethane , the thione of Thioncarbaminsäure also unstable (H 2 N-CSOH)
- Dithiourethane
The term thiocarbamate is also used as a synonym for thiourethane , although it also includes the salts of the two thiocarbamic acids.
