Thomas Best

Thomas D. Best (* 1889 in Kentucky ; † 1938 in Toledo , Ohio ) was an American architect .

Best studied at the Michigan School of Architecture , Ann Arbor from 1907 to 1911 . He was initially employed by Mills, Rhines, Bellman and Nordhoff and later worked with Harry C. Wachter and Timothy Y. Hewlett . He was also a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Well-known structures are the Civic Auditorium and Exposition Building , the Commercial Bank Building and the Women's and Children's Hospital .
