Thomas Feibel

Thomas Feibel (* 1962 in Santiago de Chile ) runs the children's media office in Berlin , works as a freelance journalist , a. a. for Stiftung Warentest, c't. Family & Co, your mirror and for radio and television. He has written numerous books and articles on the subject of “youth and electronic media”. He writes novels for children and young people and tests PC games, which he rates with his “Feibel-Mäuse” scale (maximum of six). He is co-founder of the TOMMI children's software award, which has been awarded since 2002. The Federal Association of German Library and Information Associations awarded Thomas Feibel the Karl Preusker Medal in 2014, recognizing “outstanding commitment in the field of reading promotion and the communication of electronic media for children and young people”.

Feibel lives in Berlin and is the father of four children.
