Thomas Gropper
Thomas Gropper (* 1969 in Braunlage ) is a German baritone and professor of singing, voice studies and singing didactics at the University of Music and Theater in Munich .
Live and act
As a voice trainer, Gropper works with the Munich Bach Choir as well as the Ravensburger Bach Choir and the Munich MotettenChor . He leads the Ensemble Arcis-Vocalisten Munich. He can also be heard as a speaker and presenter for Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR). As a vocal soloist, his focus is on lieder and oratorio singing. He has appeared with the Munich Philharmonic , the BR Symphony Orchestra and recordings for CD, radio and television. Gropper has been the artistic director of the Birnauer Kantorei since 2014 .
