Thomas H. Eckelmann

Thomas H. Eckelmann (* 1951 ) is chairman of the Eurogate group management together with Michael Blach .

Life

Eckelmann studied business administration at the University of Zurich from 1974 to 1979 , which he completed in Hamburg in 1979 with a degree in business administration. He then held various management positions, including in the finance department of the Hamburgische Landesbank , in the international freight forwarding business with Jacky Maeder in Zurich and in shipping with Brown and Jenkins in London. In 1980 Eckelmann joined the sales department of Eurokai KGaA. Two years later he was appointed to the company's group management, which he became chairman on August 3, 1986. In 1999 he founded the joint venture Eurogate with the BLG Logistics Group .
