Thomas Remmers
Thomas Remmers (* 1960 in Leer ) is a German lawyer and notary . He is President of the Celle Bar Association and 1st Vice President of the Federal Bar Association . He is the oldest child of the former Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt Minister of Justice Walter Remmers .
biography
Remmers studied law at the University of Münster and the Georg-August University of Göttingen and received his doctorate from the Georg-August University of Göttingen on the subject of loss of competence in the federal states in the European Union in 1991. In 1992 he passed the second state examination in law. Remmers was as 1992 Lawyer admitted and is specialized in administrative law . He has also been a notary since 2010 and President of the Celle Bar Association since 2008. He has been a member of the Presidium since 2015 and 1st Vice-President of the Federal Bar Association since 2019 .
Remmers lives in Hanover , is married and has two grown children.
