Thomas Rohloff (* 1961 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

Rohloff was already involved in puppet theater during his school days. After graduating from high school, he made a brief excursion into media research and advertising. In addition to puppet theater, he was interested in advertising films and music videos, but then decided in the 1980s to use his creativity for his theater work and founded the Pupparium . Several productions were created, some as commissioned work for children and adults. In addition to his theater work, he experimented with special animation techniques for film and television.

In the 1990s his activity switched from theater to television activity. Full-body figures and snap-mouth figures (muppets) were part of the area of ​​responsibility. For three years, he and Ferdinand Friedmann presented the international program Boulevard Deutschland from Deutsche Welle TV . During this time, the television studio became his second living room. In the new millennium he is now active as a “pixel player” and combines his animation and television experience into audiovisual installations and live appearances in performances and theater works. Since the beginning he has played the character of the suitcase in the ZDF children's series Siebenstein .
