Thomas Othmar Sprecher (born July 29, 1957 ; resident in Pfäfers and Zurich ) is a Swiss German literary scholar .

Life

He studied German and philosophy in Zurich and Berlin , then law. He is a lawyer and literary scholar in Zurich. From 1994 to 2012 he was head of the Thomas Mann Archives at ETH Zurich . As a specialist in foundation law, he is a member of various boards of trustees and has been president of the Swiss umbrella association Fondation des Fondateurs since 2007 .
