Thomassique [ tɔmaˈsik ] is a Haitian village in the Center department . The village has 3260 inhabitants and is not far from the border with the Dominican Republic . It is 19 kilometers from the main town of Hinche . Citrus plants , cotton and sugar cane are grown . In addition, cattle breeding , beekeeping and cotton processing are practiced.
