Thomson equation

There are two equations called the Thomson equation . Both go back to the physicist William Thomson, 1st Baron Kelvin :

• The Thomson equation for the mathematical description of the relationship between the increase in internal pressure and surface curvature in the case of small liquid droplets, see Kelving equation .

• The Thomson vibration equation to calculate the resonant frequency in electrical engineering.
