Thrinle Gyatsho (Regent)

Desi Thrinle Gyatsho ( tib. Sde srid 'phrin las rgya mtsho ; † 1668 ) or Drongmepa Thrinle Gyatsho (tib. Grong smad pa' phrin las rgya mtsho ) was Desi (tib. Sde srid ; regent) des from 1660 to 1668 5th Dalai Lama in Tibet . He was the second regent and successor to Sönam Chöphel .

A sacred stupa has been erected for him in the Luben Hall of Drepung Monastery .
