ThunderCoaster in TusenFryd ( Vinterbro , Viken , Norway ) is a wooden roller coaster from the manufacturer Vekoma , which opened on May 1, 2001. So far it is the only wooden roller coaster in Norway.
The 950 m long route has a 32 m high first drop with a gradient of 57 °, on which the trains can reach a top speed of 93 km / h.
Trains
ThunderCoaster owns two Gravitykraft Corporation trains with twelve cars each. Two people (in a row) can be seated in each carriage. Originally the railway had trains from Vekoma, which were replaced by trains from Gravitykraft in the 2015 season. Vekoma trains consisted of four cars with space for six people each (three rows of two people).
