The Thursee is a lake near Pampow in the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

The approximately 3.4 hectare body of water is located in the municipality of Blankensee , two kilometers north of the center of Pampow. The lake has no natural inflow. However, it has a connection to the castle lake through a northern ditch system . The maximum extent of the Thursee is about 270 by 170 meters.

The sea name probably comes from the Slavic word turŭ for aurochs .
