Thyreus
Thyreus ( Greek Θυρεύς ) is one of the seven children of Althaia and Oineus in Greek mythology .
His siblings are Toxeus , Gorge , Klymenos , Meleagros , Perimede and Deianeira .
The genus of the spotted bees ( Thyreus ) from the Apidae family is named after this mythological figure.
