Tiberius Claudius Quintianus

Lucius Tiberius Claudius Aurel ( l ) ius Quintianus was a 3rd century Roman politician and senator .

Quintianus came from Antiocheia and was a great-grandson of Emperor Lucius Verus , therefore - always through the female line - a descendant of three emperors. His father was Lucius Aurellius Commodus Pompeianus , who was consul in 209 . Before his praetoric career, Quintianus Triumvir monetalis (221/2), quaestor , as candidate of the emperor, (228) and praetor (233). In 235 Quintianus became an ordinary consul. He was also pontiff .
