Deep drilling ordinance

Tiefbohrverordnungen (abbreviated BAT or BVOT ) - in the long title to as "mining regulations for deep wells called, deep memory, and for the extraction of mineral resources by drilling" - are mining law regulations of the German federal states .

As the most important further law of the state mining sovereignty determined in Art. 74, Paragraph 1, No. 11 of the Basic Law , the Federal Mining Act (BBergG) in § 32 and § 68, Paragraph 1 empowers the state governments to issue statutory ordinances. In the interests of uniform federal regulations, several states have issued deep drilling ordinances that are coordinated with one another.
