The Ystad Zoo ( Swedish Ystad Djurpark ) is an animal park near the Swedish city ​​of Ystad .

The zoo is located northwest of the city near the village of Skårby . The park, which opened in 1998, is only open to the public from May 1st to September 30th.

The extensive grounds of the park adjoin a former farm, the building of which serves as an entrance, zoo shop and café. An outdoor swimming pool, which is open in the summer months, is connected to the park. There are several children's playgrounds.

The zoo be kept over 250 animals of about 60 species, including: alpaca , antelope , bison , Capybara , elk , Emu , Meerkat , lemuridae , Gotland sheep , camel , llama , macaque , marmoset , Mufflon , barking , rhea , Peacock , Rödkulla , Black swan , Shetland pony , tamarins , Watussi cattle , white stork , yak , zebra and zebu . There are also terrariums for insects.

The zoo is a member of the Swedish Zoo Association.
