The Tiger Rocks (literally translated from English Tiger rocks ) are two of up to 23 m high clip rocks in the South Atlantic . They belong to the archipelago of South Georgia and rise from the sea 2.5 km west of Main Island in the group of Willis Islands .
The descriptive naming was made by the crew of the research ship HMS Owen , which operated in these waters between 1960 and 1961 and measured the rocks.
