Till Kalsbach (born September 30, 1935 in Wuppertal , † July 4, 1972 ) was a German SPD politician .

education and profession

Till Kalsbach attended elementary school and grammar school and passed the Abitur. He took a degree in law and political science. In 1965 he received his doctorate. jur. From 1965 he worked as a lawyer and from 1970 was a member of the Criminal Law Committee of the Federal Bar Association. Kalsbach was appointed research assistant at the Criminal Science Institute at the University of Cologne.

Till Kalsbach was a member of the SPD from 1964. He acted as deputy chairman of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Sozialdemokratischer Juristen (ASJ) in Wuppertal and from 1968 he was a member of the board and press spokesman for the sub-district of Wuppertal. From 1969 to 1971 he worked as a city councilor for the city of Wuppertal.

Till Kalsbach was a directly elected member of the 7th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia for the constituency 059 Wuppertal IV from July 26, 1970 until his death on July 4, 1972 .
