Tim Berra

Tim M. Berra (born August 31, 1943 ) is a professor emeritus of evolution, ecology and biology at Ohio State University in the United States .

Berra received three Fulbright Scholarships to Australia (1969, 1979 and 2009) and taught at the University of Papua New Guinea before moving to Ohio State University in 1972. In 1992 he became visiting professor at the University of Concepcion in Chile, and in 1996 visiting professor at the University of Otago in New Zealand. Over the past 40 years he has spent more than 8 years doing field research in Australia.

Dr. Berra is a director of the American Society of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists and the author of over 75 scientific publications and 6 books.
