Tim Sohr

Tim Sohr (* 1980 in Düsseldorf ) is a German writer and journalist.

life and work

Sohr studied culture and media studies in Düsseldorf and Barcelona. In 2014 Sohr published his debut novel Woanders is' auch scheiße , which was voted “Book of the Year 2014” by the readers of the Musikexpress . The Hamburger Morgenpost compared Sohr with Benjamin von Stuckrad-Barre for his coming-of-age story, referred to in the “Bild” newspaper as a “wonderful journey through time to the 90s” .

In 2017 his second book, Forever and Amy , was published, which was nominated for the DeLiA Literature Prize for "Best Romance Novel of the Year".

Sohr lives in Hamburg and has also worked as an author and editor for “stern” and “Neon” since 2015.
