Time Requiem is a Swedish metal band, their style is classically influenced progressive metal.
history
Richard Andersson formed the band in the summer of 2001 after he thought his old project Majestic was over. Andersson took Peter Wildoer, Apollo Papathanasio and Magnus Nord into the new band. Martin Wezovski was reportedly not good enough on bass to play in a band like Time Requiem and was replaced by Meshuggah's Dick Lövgren . With this line-up, the band released their self-titled first album Time Requiem in 2002 .
In 2003 the band played in Japan. The concert was released on CD, Unleashed in Japan , it also contained new material.
After the live CD, Wildoer concentrated on his thrash metal band Darkane and left Time Requiem. Lövgren had musical differences with Andersson and left too. The two were replaced by Zoltan Csörsz and Jonas Reingold.
