Timmy Goes To School (Original Title: Timothy Goes To School ) is an American - Canadian animated series . It is based on books by Rosemary Wells . The series consists of two seasons.

action

The focus of the action is the little raccoon Timmy and his classmates who go to the crumb school. The main focus is on social behavior within the preschool class. Other characters are the class teacher Ms. Jenning, her assistant Ms. Gooseberry and Heinrich, the caretaker.

Characters

student

  • Timmy is a raccoon and the main character in the series. The individual episodes are mostly shown from his point of view, but he is not the focus of every episode. Timmy is a friendly character and is quick to make friends with the other students. He still knows Doris from kindergarten, but doesn't seem to like her at first. He's wearing a blue and white striped T-shirt.
  • Yoko is a cat from Japan . In the class group she is rather calm, but also lovable like Timmy. The two quickly become friends. Yoko maintains its tradition, which is less understood by the others. She wears a yellow dress with a red jacket over it.
  • Charlie is a gray mouse and the smallest student in the class. He is very shy and reserved. He can usually be seen in denim dungarees and a red t-shirt.
  • Like Charlie, Nora is a mouse, only rather dark brown and fundamentally different in personality. She is bright, courageous and very sensitive. She is wearing a purple dress.
  • Lilly is a red fox and very forgetful. It occurs remarkably rarely in the episodes. She gets along very well with Fritz. She has a pet, a fish. She dresses in an orange t-shirt, a green skirt and red tennis shoes.
  • Fritz is a badger and by far the most intelligent of the class, but he tends to be clumsy. He is very close friends with Lilly and Timmy and in one episode he leaves class because he is moving. However, he later moved back to the city. He dresses in a yellow shirt.
  • Grace is an orange cat. She is interested in music and dancing.
  • Like Timmy, Claas is a raccoon, but bigger. He repeats the class and is therefore the oldest. As a repeater, he knows what school life is like and acts like pretty important. He also annoys Timmy on the first few days because, according to Claas, he is wrongly dressed. Claas can usually be seen in a dark green polo shirt.
  • Willi and Wolli are twin brothers and French Bulldogs . They are very athletic and always hang out together. Since they are both called Frank in the original, they have numbers on the T-shirts.
  • Doris is a beaver . She is dressed in a pink dress and has a bow on her head of almost the same color. She is the tallest of the class and has three brothers. Like them, she is an avid soccer player . She has known Timmy since kindergarten.
  • Juanita is a black cat from Mexico . It only appears in the last episode.

Adults

In addition to the parents of the students, the following adults are important for the series:

  • Mrs. Jenning , b. Abercrombie, is a fox lady and the class teacher. She plays the piano and loves to watch birds. She wears glasses and has a purple skirt on and a green jacket over it.
  • Mrs. Gooseberry is Mrs. Jenning's assistant and a badger.
  • Heinrich is a beaver and the caretaker of the school, he also picks up the children in the morning by bus and brings them back home at noon.
