Tina Ternes

Tina Ternes (born August 15, 1969 in Kaiserslautern , Germany ) is a German musician and composer.

After learning the piano and double bass in her childhood, she was also taught music theory at the Kaiserslautern Music School. In 1988 she began studying school music in Mainz, which she completed in 1992. From 1992 to 1994 she studied film music at the Wiesbaden Music Academy . She lives in Frankenthal .

Her works include orchestral works (e.g. Concer Tina for solo double bass and orchestra), choral works (e.g. based on poems by Hugo von Hofmannsthal ), chamber music, musicals (e.g. the musical "Frankenthaler Geschichte (n)" for City Anniversary Frankenthal 2019), stage music (e.g. to Romulus the Great by Friedrich Dürrenmatt ) and a film music.

In 2009 Tina Ternes won 2nd prize at the Crossover Composition Award with her piece "Windspiel" .
