Tintange (German (outdated): Tintingen , Luxembourgish : Tënnen , Wallonisch Tîtindje ) is a village and a sub-municipality of the Belgian municipality of Fauvillers in the province of Luxembourg in Wallonia .

Tintange is on the national road N4, between Bastogne and Martelange in a wooded area between the valleys of the Sauer , the Surbach and the Molscht .

history

Earlier spellings: Tintingen (1468), Inkge (1688).

1823: Merger with the municipality of Warnach .

1977: When Belgian municipalities merge , Tintange becomes a sub-municipality of Fauvillers.
