Inkwell (magazine)
The inkwell , also known as the inkwell , is a periodical published by Diogenes Verlag . Since the first edition in 1963, it has changed the basic concept, the output rhythm and the format several times.
The inkwell first appeared in 1963 as an almanac for the tenth anniversary of the publishing house. After that it was the publisher's in-house magazine for the press and book trade . It was later also available to private customers to subscribe to. From 1974 to 1977 the inkwell was published as an annual anthology in paperback format. In 1980 the concept was fundamentally changed. The new inkwell appeared - again starting with number 1 - as a culture magazine in magazine format. From number 2, however, the publisher returned to the anthology and the paperback format. The series, which is also increasingly focal topicswas temporarily discontinued in 1992. In 1997 the inkwell appeared again, since then once a year at the Frankfurt Book Fair .
