The Tiroler Wildwasserbahn is a wild water ride in Europa-Park .

history

The Tyrolean whitewater run is located together with the Alpenexpress in the Austrian themed area of Europa-Park. The Tyrolean wild water ride, built in 1978, is one of the park's first rides. Since 1998 it has been leading through a magically designed “magic diamond cave”, which can also be entered on foot and is also used by the Alpenexpress. This diamond cave represents a mine in which numerous animatronics in the form of dwarfs mine diamonds. Before this was built, however, the waterway went through a hall instead of the diamond cave. The six-person log boats that were retrofitted in 2005 come from Mack Rides , but the fairways were built in cooperation with Arrow Dynamics . After the first smaller descent, curves and the diamond cave follow. Then comes a second big descent, curves and then the station again.

Theming

The track is designed according to the Tyrol theme . In the diamond cave the theme is based on sorcery and magical beings.
