Titan in Six Flags Over Texas ( Arlington , Texas , USA ) is a steel roller coaster of the Mega Coaster model manufactured by Giovanola , which opened on April 27, 2001. Titan is almost identical to Goliath in Six Flags Magic Mountain with the difference that Titan is approx. 4 m higher and has a 540 ° helix in front of the first brake.
The drive
Titan's journey begins with the train being pulled up a 75 m high lift hill. This is followed by a 78 m high descent that leads into a 37 m long tunnel. Directly after the tunnel there is a large carousel curve. After the curve, passengers experience airtime on a large hill . Then the train drives up a 540 ° helix, which puts the brakes on about half the way. Next, the train moves into an over-sloping curve, followed by the second 540 ° helix. This is followed by a right and a left curve. Finally, the train pulls into the final brake.
Trains
Titan has three trains with five cars each. Six people (three rows) can be seated in each car.
