Titan Aerospace is an American aerospace company based in Albuquerque . Since 2013 the company has been led by the former Microsoft manager Vern Raburn. In April 2014 Titan Aerospace announced its acquisition by Google Inc. announced.

Products

The company manufactures unmanned aerial vehicles under the name Atmosat . The so-called “atmospheric satellites” (Solar-Powered Atmospheric Satellite Drones), which travel up to 20 kilometers in altitude, can perform functions that are typical of satellites, such as monitoring weather and fire or taking pictures. Equipped with a solar drive, according to the company, they can fly continuously for up to five years and cover four million kilometers in the process.
