Johann Christoph Hart

Johann Christoph Hart (* baptized December 19, 1641 in Ostheim ; † 1719 in Kaltensundheim ) was a German organ builder .

life and work

Johann Christoph Hart can be verified as a schoolmaster from 1670 to 1672 , from 1672 as organist and organ builder in Kaltensundheim and from 1682 as organist and organ builder in Kaltenwestheim . He also worked as an innkeeper . His hometown Ostheim commissioned him in 1673 to build a new organ for the Church of St. Michael. He built "quite remarkable organs" and supplied his works for churches in Kaltensundheim and in 1685 in Hartershausen .
