Titan Force is an American power and progressive metal band from Colorado Springs , Colorado , founded in 1983 under the name Titan .
history
The band was founded in 1983 by the three brothers Mario (electric guitar), John (bass, vocals) and Stefan Flores (drums) under the name Titan. Together they recorded a four-song demo before guitarist and keyboardist joined the cast. Together they played some local appearances and opened concerts by Jag Panzer , among other things . In 1989 their self-titled debut album was released on US Metal Records , on which Jag Panzer singer Harry Conklin took over the vocals. In 1991 the second album Winner / Loser was released. After a tour through Germany together with Anvil and Scene X Dream , the band separated from their label and returned to the USA. After the band continued to play concerts unsuccessfully for a few years, they broke up after Conklin returned to Jag Panzer in 1994.
Since the breakup, there have been isolated appearances, such as in 2002 on the German Bang Your Head .
style
The band's music is often compared to the band Jag Panzer through the vocals of Conklin. The works can be described as a mixture of Queensrÿche and Fates Warning .
