Titular diocese of Cnossus
Cnossus ( Italian : Cnosso ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a submerged bishop's seat in the ancient city of the same name , which was in the Roman province of Creta et Cyrene or in late antiquity Creta . The bishopric was assigned to the church province of Gortyn .
