Titus Sextius Magius Lateranus (Consul 197)

Titus Sextius Magius Lateranus was a 3rd century Roman politician, senator, and military man.

Lateranus came from a republican family and was the son of Titus Sextius Lateranus , consul in 154. In the Parthian War of 195 he was the dux of Emperor Septimius Severus , to whom he owed his great wealth, in 197 he held the ordinary consulate. Lateranus was the owner of the palace named after him on the Lateran .
