The Tofteaksla is a 1200 m high mountain in the northwest of the Antarctic Peter I Island . It rises on the northwest side of the Lars Christensen summit .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named him in 1987 after Eyvind Tofte (1880–1968), the head of the Antarctic voyage with the Odd I (1926–1927) financed by the Norwegian whaling entrepreneur Lars Christensen .
