The Tofte Glacier ( Norwegian Toftebreen ) is a 3 km long glacier on the west coast of the Antarctic Peter I Island . It flows south of Sandefjord Cove into the Bellingshausen Sea .
It was discovered in 1927 when the Norwegian whaling entrepreneur Lars Christensen financed the Antarctic voyage of Odd I (1926–1927). It is named after Eyvind Tofte (1880–1968), the ship's captain.
