Together were a British house music act from the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Band history

Together consisted of Jonathon Donaghy and Suddi Raval. The house music project originated from the Manchester rave scene of the late eighties and early nineties, also known under the name Madchester . Their debut single "Hardcore Uproar" was produced especially for the legendary Hacienda Club in Manchester. The almost exclusively instrumental piece with a distinctive piano solo was very popular there and was finally released commercially as a single in the summer of 1990. It stayed in the charts for six weeks and reached number 12. Together with the almost simultaneously released dance tracks "LFO" by LFO and "Tricky Disco" by Tricky Disco , "Hardcore Uproar" is considered to be a pioneer of the commercial breakthrough of techno music. Under the name Together appeared a few other publications until 1994, but they no longer reached the British charts.

Donaghy and his girlfriend were killed in a traffic accident in Ibiza in 1991. Raval now works as a video game composer in Manchester.
