Tom Sharkey
Tom Sharkey (* 26. November 1873 in Dundalk , Leinster , Ireland ; † 17th April 1953 ) was an Irish boxer in the heavyweight division . He was managed by Tim McGrath , among others .
Sharkey played a total of 52 fights, of which he won 37 and lost 7; 6 ended in a draw, 2 in a "no contest".
In 2003 Sharkey was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame .
