Tom Wise

Thomas "Tom" Wise (born May 13, 1948 in Bournemouth ) is a British politician of UKIP .

Life

Wise attended Bournemouth School from 1959 to 1965 . He worked as a police officer in England and then switched to a German spice company. From 1981 to 1989 he was a member of the Liberal Party . In 1997 he became a member of UKIP. From June 10, 2004 to June 4, 2009 Wise was a member of the European Parliament . In November 2009, he was sentenced to two years in prison by Southwark Crown Court for misrepresentation and money laundering . Wise is married with two children and lives in Linslade .
