Tomas Tranströmpriset
The Tomas Tranströmpriset ( Tomas-Tranströmer-Preis ) is a literature prize that is awarded every two years by the Swedish city of Västerås and is endowed with 200,000 crowns (as of 2020). It is named after Tomas Tranströmer , who lived in Västerås for a long time , was launched in 1997 and is given to a poet from Scandinavia or one of the countries bordering the Baltic Sea . Apparently, this rule was deviated from in 2020.
