Tomio Seike

Tomio Seike ( Japanese 清 家 冨 夫 , Seike Tomio ; * 1943 in Tokyo Prefecture , Japan ) is a Japanese photographer .

Tomio Seike has been working on his small-format, sepia toned series in black and white since the early 1970s . He works on series of cities, portraits and landscapes.

Tomio Seike has exhibited worldwide since 1984, especially in the USA , Japan, Great Britain and France . His works can be found in the collections of the Bibliothèque nationale de France ( Paris ), the Maison Européenne de la Photographie (Paris), the Houston Museum of Fine Arts (USA), the Santa Barbara Museum of Art ( California ), and in the Sir Elton John Collection.
