Tomoji Eguchi ( Japanese 江口 倫 司 , Eguchi Tomoji ; born April 22, 1977 in Hyōgo Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Eguchi learned to play soccer on the school team at Kwansei Gakuin High School . He signed his first contract with Vissel Kobe in 1996 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . In 1996 he was runner-up with the club in the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . For the club he completed 36 first division games. In 2000 he moved to league rivals Avispa Fukuoka . At the end of the 2001 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . For the club he completed 71 games. At the end of 2003 he ended his career as a soccer player.
