Toni Geller

Toni Geller (born December 6, 1924 in Cologne ; † January 17, 2012 there ) was a well-known and one of the most popular hand-made speakers at the Cologne carnival .

In 1949 he and a few others re-founded the Poller Maiverein "Geloog", which has its origins in the Middle Ages. He was there "rank master", d. H. Leader of the May celebrations.

From 1963 he lived in Cologne-Dünnwald .

He was known for his appearances as a handicraft speaker at the Cologne Carnival, where he had been active since 1952, especially as a politician of the "Blue Party" he had invented . He represented this figure from 1962 to 1988, from 1988 to 1991 he had to take a break for health reasons. Geller performed again from 1992 to 1994. After that he was only on stage on special occasions.
