Toni Labhart

Toni Peter Labhart (* 1937 ) is a Swiss geologist and mineralogist .

Labhart received his doctorate in 1965 in Bern with Ernst Niggli ( Petrotectonic investigations on the southern edge of the Aarmassiv north of Naters (Valais, Switzerland) ). Until 1998 he was Professor of Mineralogy and Petrography at the University of Bern .

He is the author of several popular science geological guides for Switzerland. Among other things, he examined radioactive minerals such as uranium in Switzerland.
