Tontemboan is a language spoken in northern Sulawesi around Langoan, Sonder, Suluun and Amurang. It is one of the Filipino languages of the Malayo-Polynesian languages within the Austronesian languages . Other names and dialects are: Makela'i-Maotow, Makelai, Matana'i-Maore ', Matanai, Pakewa, Sonder, Tompakewa, Tompaso, Tountemboan.
