Tonumea (also: Tanumea , Tonomaia , Tonumeia ) is an island in the Ha'apai archipelago , which belongs to the Kingdom of Tonga .
geography
The Motu is located in the south of ʻOtu Muʻomuʻa as the northernmost island of the Nuku Islands group; to the south is Nuku . To the north, Mango is the closest island.
climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands of the Ha'apai group, Tonumea is occasionally hit by cyclones .
