Tony Fitzpatrick

Anthony "Tony" Fitzpatrick (born March 3, 1956 in Glasgow ) is a former Scottish football player and current coach . Fitzpatrick is also the record player for FC St. Mirren with 351 appearances.

Fitzpatrick played between 1973 and 1979 and between 1981 and 1989 for the traditional Scottish club FC St. Mirren . In the intervening years he played games for Bristol City . During his time at FC St. Mirren, he led his team in the final of the Scottish FA Cup in 1987 as captain. FC St. Mirren won the game against Dundee United 1-0 thanks to a goal from Ian Ferguson .

After his active career, he coached FC St. Mirren between 1988 and 1991 and between 1996 and 1998. Fitzpatrick held the position of Youth Development Manager at Livingston FC . Today Fitzpatrick is committed to promoting sport for children and adults.
