Top Hit plus plums

Tophit plus (mostly just referred to as Tophit or Top Hit ) is a plum variety that was bred in 1987 in the Research Institute for Horticulture and Viticulture in Geisenheim from a cross between Čačaks Beste and President .

It is a Scharka- tolerant plum variety - among other things as a substitute for the Hauszwetschge and President varieties .

The very large (up to the size of a hen's egg) fruits ripen late, are oval to elongated, blue and frosted when ripe. The flesh is yellow, juicy and easy to remove.

The tree grows moderately and is suitable for all forms of upbringing. The fruit set is very high, which can lead to alternation without thinning .
