Čačaks Beste (often just referred to as “Čačaks” for short) is a plum variety that was created in 1961 in the Yugoslav fruit growing company Čačak (now Serbia ) from the cross of Stanley x house plum (Pozegaca). The variety has been used in Germany a. a. grown commercially. The variety has a good yield and the fruits are easy to transport - it is also tolerant of Sharka disease .

The large fruits ripen in mid to late August, are oblong-oval and dark blue and heavily frosted when ripe. The pulp is medium-firm, juicy, yellow in color and easily removes seeds.
