Topics in Current Chemistry (abbreviated to Top. Curr. Chem. ) Is a series of specialist books published by Springer Verlag in which "critical reviews of current and future trends in modern chemical research " are published.
From the first edition in 1949 up to and including volume 16, the publications appeared in German under the title Progress of Chemical Research (abbreviated Fortschr. Chem. Forsch. ).
The individual publications (up to 20 per year) appear at irregular intervals. The impact factor for 2017 was 5.537.
