Torba (Turkey)
Torba is a settlement belonging to the Bodrum municipality in the province of Muğla , Turkey .
The village is about six kilometers north of Bodrum on the north coast of the Bodrum peninsula in a valley of olive groves and - if not destroyed by fire - pine forests. Torba is nothing like the bustle of the nearby city of Bodrum. In addition to the local fish, there are also sea turtles and the rare Mediterranean monk seal . The area around Torba is gradually being sprawled by large hotels and resorts.
